Single bed recommendation for adults son

I need to replace his bed but he doesn't have space for a double. I need something strong and sturdy as he obviously has had too much fun in his present bed with his ex gf 🤔 I also need a comfortable mattress. Any recommendations please?

I recommend he research them himself, if he buys it then he can take it with him when he moves out setting him up nicely.

Teen DD has a small double which is a nice middle sized bed with a double duvet and a silent night mattress with pillow top. Mattress from Argos about £300 and bed was in last years Next sale, small double bottom sheets are trickier to find so an online or Dunelm job.

We have a small double for the dc, I just put regular double sheets on it though. A divan probably studier than a frame bed.

My DS had a small double and I just used normal double sized sheets. I'd get a divan either way.
