I’m feeling brave and want to try this green in my dining room. Any idea what colour it is?

Go to a Dulux Professional paint centre. They can match anything for you and it's very good quality paint.

Can they colour match from a phone screen?

Ime it's not a great idea to match from any screen, because colours show up differently on different devices. Accuracy likely to be hitty-missy.

B&Q Valspar counter can scan from anything but ideally buy something very highly pigmented like Farrow & Ball or Little Greene because you're going for a dark colour. It's false economy to buy cheaper paint for dark colours because you'll need loads of coats to achieve the colour density you need for it to look good.

You could take your phone to a good quality paint shop that stocks the best brands and they'll help you find similar colours that you can then buy samples or swatches of to try in your dining room.

Looks a bit like Dulux Fresh artichoke which I have just painted a room in my house

dontcallmelen · 20/12/2024 17:59

Lots of paint company’s do a very similar colour, might be green smoke by F&B
I have similar in my front room & dining room might be slightly darker it by Sanderson called Vineyard.

It's very similar to Neptune. 'French Grey' - which despite the name is. Green Grey. Just had it in our sitting room and it's fabulous.

If you don't have a F&B budget, I've used Valspar Salty Peat which is very similar and a fraction of the cost

My daughter used a Valspar darkish colour once and it was fine - more highly pigmented than Dulux or Crown.

Thanks everyone! Some of them look
quite poo-ey 😂. I’m a white and grey gal trying to embrace colour but struggling. I’m already telling myself that something more neutral like F&B Mizzle woukd be nicer!

I think that could be F&B French Grey. I have it my study which is a small dark room and it looks fairly green.
