Next furniture - Xmas / January sales?

I'm looking to get some furniture from Next. I have had to start again in a new home with nothing, so am keen to get on. I have waited until flooring is fitted which is happening this Wednesday.

Is it worth hanging on for the sales or does the furniture not go in the sales anyway?

Furniture does go on sale. I'm after a bed so I'll be buying too. I read somewhere that the sale starts online Christmas Day and in stores on Boxing Day but I'm not sure if that's true or not. The VIP sale normally starts a few days earlier but again, nothing confirmed.
