Do they exist? Hoping to renew my cushions. I read an interesting article that said the inner of the cushion is important to give structure etc. and I fancy trying, but I can’t have feathers or down. Thank you.

I used to go to a market in Romford, Essex which had a foam stall. The owner would cut different types of foam to the size you wanted.

I think you could find similar. Buy the cushion covers first and source the foam. Try upholstery shops, Amazon or even a market! I think you can. Cut it to size yourself or look for foam chips in a bag.

Wool? I have wool duvets and pillows and love them.

Latex cushion pads like these they are expensive but don’t flatten and have a lifetime guarantee

Ooh interesting. Do you find them lumpy at all with all the bits inside?

No I don’t find them lumpy, I have been through umpteen synthetic ones that have flattened over time and feather that can need frequent plumping although feather cushion pads will always go back into shape with plumping but the latex ones keeper their shape

I have had the homescapes ones and they are good but my DH seems to trash cushions like no one else I’ve known , I do like feather as well for feel but prefer the latex ones as they just stay in shape , they’re not as squishy as feather but pretty good. I do have latex pillows as well but those have a different feel as they are a solid piece of latex rubber

I use guest duvets as cushion pads. A sofa cushion is 50x50 and a duvet is 150x200. A bit of creative envelope folding … et voilà!
