Bathroom - acrylic baths and stylish taps

We are finally starting a make over of our bathroom in the new year. We've been here 10 years and barely done anything but I suddenly too scared to make any decisions! Have done lots of research but now I need to get things ordered.

We want a slipper or bateau bath that is between 1500-1550 long. I can't find a slipper bath that size (that is affordable!). I have now found a bateau bath but it is only 5mm acrylic. Is that ok or is it flimsy? I've not had an acrylic bath before. I don't want one on legs and so many of them seem to be.

The other thing is taps. The house is Edwardian. Taps all seem to be modern looking or very twiddly Victorian, neither of which I want. I have a few deco style ones but their not quite right any. The closest I've found are these: Kingsley from Abi Interiors but I'm not sure about the basin taps. Does anyone have any suggestions?

How did you get on OP? I'm looking for exactly the same thing, not twiddly/twee/Victoriana but not ugly/modern....
