Recommendations for very easy timers for lights

I need a couple of very easy to set timers for my Christmas lights.

I bought some last year and they are so fiddly and confusing with tiny buttons and I've now lost the instructions.

Are the dial ones best? I also don't want to pay loads. Under £20 for 2 ideally

How about a "smart plug" paired with a smart assistant (Google Home, Alexa, Siri)? so easy to set up and simply controlled with voice control. Smart plugs are very reasonably priced these days.

If you don't have a smart assistant, I'll leave others to advise :)

I've got an Alexa

Smart plug. I have tapo ones and they are great. You can swith them on/off and set timers with alexa (as well as their own app).

Amazon basics smart plug. Plug in open alexa app, click search devices and it will automatically detect and pair. They're on sale at the moment too.

Bought 2 plugs and they're brilliant. So easy to set up. Lights are timed to come on.
