Paint colour to go with turquoise sofa

Please can someone help with paint colours that would go with a light turquoise sofa. The room is north facing and the current paint colour is picking up grey/purple undertones making it look miserable. It's going to be a teenager gaming room and I want it to feel cosy and warm. Any suggestions?

My kitchen is grey and white, with one turquoise wall, and orange Habitat chairs. It faces east and picks up the morning sun without looking cold.

It's the undertones I'm never sure of! So this is good to know. I definitely want something that will feel warm in the North facing light. Thanks so much

Thanks everyone - some good ideas here. I'm thinking something sandy coloured on the wall with orange/terracotta accents in the room/soft furnishings.
