Anyone have new windows fitted recently?

Scotland?

In total 12 ish windows . I don’t want to start getting quotes totally ignorant.

The best advice I can give is to try to find a company who make their own windows rather than a middle man who will phone round and source them for you and add their own fee on top. We went direct to the manufacturer, they had a very basic "showroom" above their factory. We found them via google, local company that had been around for 30 years with a good reputation.

We also looked online for supply only windows to get an idea of cost and compared that with the quote from the local manufacturer to see how much we were paying for fitting really. I am not in Scotland and this was pre-covid where prices have now changed a lot.

Get a quote from a local installer, the big names give laughable quotes.
