Hi

We had a window removed to be repaired. Some boarding was put over it to keep elements out. But we live in Cornwall where it rains everyday. Water is pouring in. We are unable to get to the outside of the window. The window is attached to someone else's sloping roof. Neighbour is difficult and the roof is un climbable. Any suggestions in how to keep rain out. I was thinking plastic sheeting wrapped around plywood, take out the existing board away, which is sloping inward and allowing water in. Lean a new plastic wrapped board on to the outside of window. Then screw the old board back in?

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Could you put a tarp out of the window and tuck it over the top of the current board and then weight down the bottom of the tarp with something?

Depending on how big the gap is, I'd probably bang some silicone sealant on that. It may seem extreme, but sealant can be removed fairly easily.
