I have been wanting to replace my front and back doors for quite a while, but when I've seen the price of new ones it is not something I can afford to do at the moment. I've been researching how to improve the appearance of PVC doors, I saw a tutorial of someone painting it and using privacy film and the difference was amazing. As a novice with DIY, I wondered if anyone else has use the privacy film to cover up ugly patterned windows on their doors? Would a any film design be able to cover up a pattern on a window (there's no colour on the current pattern, it just swirls) and has anyone experienced painting their outside doors and did the finish look good? Tempted to do it but worried I'll make a mess of it.
