Help! Paint dilemma

Hi I'm just about to start the mammoth task of re-painting all the interior doors in my house. They are currently in white gloss (yellowing) and I need to decide whether to go with gloss, satinwood or something else.

Honestly I just can't make my mind up. Is gloss old hat? What would you choose? Any thoughts on this appreciated thanks.

The whole house needs refreshing so I can go with either. House is modern, 20 years old if that makes any difference.

I've seen photos of doors painted black or dark grey online. With the trim and skirting painted the same, they look fabulous.
Having said that, I'd be worried about making hallways and landings too dark, and would just repaint in white. It's timeless and there are ones which don't yellow now.
