I've used Ikea's Ribba frames for years. However, they don't seem to be stocking them anymore, and from the reviews I've read the alternatives Ikea do stock have had the glass replaced with plastic, which doesn't sound as good. Where is everyone buying nice pictures frames now? TIA!

The Range, excellent value and er ..range.. Sainsbury's also have Habitat frames for smaller pictures.

I get mine in Charity shops (just remove what’s in them) and get our local framers to mount them and put them together. The last picture I had framed cost £13.50 all together, so it works out cost effective, but looks really good.

Ribba picture frames have had plastic rather than glass for years before they discontinued them. My main objection to the replacements is they don't have a wide enough frame on the backside to use stickers for hanging

Yes, they haven't had glass in for years.

I think that chunky frames, like those canvases, just aren't so fashionable any more. Ikea will no doubt have a lot of other frames instead.

I take the plastic out of my Ikea frames.
