What mirror above fireplace?

Was hoping to decorate our lounge, but other priorities means I have to wait a couple of years so I’m looking for some small changes.

Most likely the first of many threads on what I should do/get but what size/shape mirror would you get over this fireplace? I like the picture (I use the room for yoga often) so will be moving it to the right wall next to the fireplace. Fireplace is 71.5cm across.

Also looking for suggestions on type of mirror! Can’t spend a fortune as I also want to buy some new cushions & tv stand…

The room next door (kitchen/main sofa area) is quite industrial looking.

What do you think of this one placed horizontally Next black mirror

Or this one. Bit too expensive but might be a letter size.
Next mirror with squares

I like this one! Is it big enough?
Next grey mirror

Will check out some other sites now…

Have you looked in charity shops or your local dump/tip? Ours has a huge 'showroom' for stuff to sell. We got a fantastic mirror for above our fireplace from the tip and it was £10. It's a very well made mirror by actual mirror makers, if that makes sense.

Just thinking it could be a much cheaper option for you?

I would get this sort of shape and put a shelf under it on the wall. www.daals.co.uk/products/emmy-black-arch-metal-frame-overmantle-mirror-120-x-120-cm

When you say you were hoping to decorate what do you mean by that? Just paint or something else. I only ask because you’ve linked a £250 mirror which surely is enough to decorate with?

We’re thinking about taking down chimney breast, putting a corner sofa against that wall & putting the tv on the opposite wall. If we don’t do that, we’ll do some re plastering in some bits & repainting. Neither of which will happen in the next 18m so I wanted to spruce the room up a bit. Probably have about £400 to play with to get a mirror, tv unit & some cushions.

Ahh so slightly more than just redecorating.
I like the mirror you posted with a shelf on it. I like the arched mirror someone posted and would look lovely with a separate floating shelf but if your going to eventually get rid of the chimney breast and nowhere else for the shelf I’d just go for the mirror with the shelf
