Can blinds in a living room look cosy?

New corner sofa has arrived today. I'm not sure I like it tbh but I'm stuck with it so need to make the best of things!!

Currently have crushed velvet fabric curtains but they are too similar to the fabric of the sofa so definitely need to change them.

One side of the sofa is underneath the window (so right next to curtains) and everything would look 'neater'/less weird if I didn't have curtains along there too.

However, I still want a cosy feel and not a stark/cold feeling living room.

Any inspiration for cosy living room window blinds that give the homely feel of curtains without actually being curtains?!

Sorry should have said, I want blinds that you can have all the way up (so roller/roman blinds I presume), rather than blinds that are down all the time and you just tilt the slats to be able to see out (if that makes sense!)

This is the rest of the room, it's not a big room and is open plan to the kitchen but I think it's comfy/cosy

I have blinds but I find them a bit clinical so have softened the look with voiles.

I have blinds (Roman) They are in fairly heavy fabric and are interlined to help keep the heat in. They do look cosy, I think. Mine are dark red and I made them myself. I expect you would want a colour to fit your room - what about the teal colour that you already have in your cushion. I don't think any more grey would add any cosiness.

I think so long as the rest of the room is cosy with throws, cushions and rugs it will look cosy, if on the other hand you have a laminate floor with no rugs, leather sofa and a central light it will look incredibly clinical, @buffyspikefaith living room looks cosy.
