Originally planned to put a set of 3 prints up here in thin black frames. Nothing original or fancy. This wall and adjacent are both light grey. Today, I found a piece from a local artist and bought on a whim, a gorgeous contemporary style bookcase painting with neutrals, some orange and black and it's in a brushed silver, quite ornate looking square frame. It's approx 36inch.
My questions are, should all frames match? I plan on having 2 slightly smaller prints at either side as the wall is rather large (ideas of print style welcome!).. and should the frames be the same depth and style?
I was thinking of a large round mirror on adjacent wall also with black border, not sure that would work with orate style frames.
Please help a clueless on interior design gal.
