Just bought this Rug.
We have a new leather matt black sofa. Currently also have a very tired cream armchair, but we have an armchair that matches the sofa that we're bringing in to replace it.
Flooring really non-descript oak LVT.
No curtains or anything in here (it's our kitchen diner, so one half is open to the kitchen and dining table while the other half looks out on to the garden.
Just puzzling over how to decorate it to cozy it up.
The bit behind the sofa is just empty space. (We have an oak desk / filing cabinet which needs to stay and a cheap white bookcase which is largely empty.)
Would really like to paint the walls a colour (currently timeless), even though there isn't actually much wall space. And for it to look a lovely and inviting place to sit. Now the kids are older we tend to just use it for TV watching in the evening.
What do you suggest?
