Am painting the home office a kinda creamy beige colour. Currently it’s 3 walls grey and one bright blue (old kids room)

Ive started to do edges and the cream is (now) obviously going on a differnt share on the blue wall to the grey ones.

Do I stop and put a white coat on blue wall? Or an extra coat of cream? Or just burn the place to the ground(prefered option)

as normal pushed for time and trying to do 20 things at once e and regretting choice to even start this 😩

thanks

I would undercoat with some white yes, as you can probably pick up some emulsion cheaper than doing extra coats and therefore more of your coloured paint.

I’d second a white undercoat. Then when you’ve finished can you please come and paint the whole of my downstairs? I’m sat staring at it knowing it needs doing but have no motivation 🤦‍♀️

Thanks!

im guessing white would probably be better too? To be honest i have tons of the cream colour, but i can only see ugly getting darker if i put more in… so will go get some white.

hate painting.

It really seemed like a good idea…. I’ve been chasing the decorator for months, start a new job soon and though ah I’ll just do it myself…. Now the whole house is upside down and the walls look a complete riot.
