Bungalow frontage PHOTO!!!

We're moving to this bungalow shortly.
How would you improve the frontage. We like plantation shutters but not sure if they will suit the windows. Want to replace the front door and panels. Any suggestions, colour and style would be great. We have no imagination and struggle to visualise so photos would be great.

Put large square planters in front of each pillar and put a lovely olive or bay in each depending on aspect/climate.

change the front door to a wooden one with glazing panels down either side.

I would get rid of those awful 80s pillars and replace with....anything else

We hate the pillars too but not sure what the cost would be of replacing them. Have wondered about boxing them and the canopy at the top.
Next door neighbours have painted their rendering white and had bright grey front door and panels.
Definitely going to have planters to brighten it all up.

A lower budget option for the pillars might be to box them in a good quality wooden trellis and have something grow up it
