The light through the velux windows in our kitchen diner is too much with the low sun at this time of year. Velux blinds offer full blackout and semi transparent/dimout versions. Not sure which to get. Blackout seems excessive for a kitchen but I’m worried transparent ones will let too much light in, as glare off the TV is an issue. I know there’s also a combo version but I’m on a tight budget. Any experience/suggestions?
