Green woodwork for hallway

I have a small hallway in a Victorian terraced house. I'm thinking of doing the walls a neutral (cream/biscuity colour maybe) and the woodwork - including bannisters - mid or dark green. Wondered if anyone has done something similar and would be happy to share pics or suggest nice greens?

Is the wood already painted? I’m thinking of green walls and natural wood for our hallway, very harmonious and welcoming. Though it does mean lots of stripping white gloss off the stairs!

Sounds like a great combo. Look at the Farrow and Ball Lovers Facebook group for inspiration. Even if you don't want to buy their paint it will provide ideas.
