Ballsed up my hallway help

Touched up some white paint on the stairs where my children had bashed it. Now I have bright white streaks where the old white has obviously faded. Anything I can do short of repainting the whole lot? Cannot be arsed with that but it looks worse than it did before!

You could just paint one wall - or get a lower watt bulb

Could you "feather" it.
Little bit of paint on the tip of the brush, wipe any excess off and lightly brush over it so it blends, you could do the whole lot using this method rather than repainting it properly then hopefully it'll all blend in

sponge it with watered down paint might make it blend in better

Thanks for the comments. Think it will have to be repainted. Tried the sponge method but it hasn't made much of a difference, probably because I got the scrubbable paint! (Kids always bashing the walls!).
