Has anybody used Howden quartz as a splash back?

I wanted to continue the quartz upstands up as a splash back but Howdens said you can’t as not heatproof

Just put something different on the small bit behind the hobs?

We’ve got Howdens quartz (Aspen crystal) as our full worktop and splashback. We’re just very careful with using trivets and wiping up any splashes as soon as they appear!
