Fresh flower gift subscription

Oneearringlost · 11/10/2024 15:47

I'm thinking of getting DD (22) a fresh flower gift subscription for Christmas. She's just moved into her own flat and has mentioned that she really loves having fresh flowers in it.
I'm thinking of a subscription for a year.
Has anyone got suggestions or experience of this?
Was it worth it?
Good or poor recommendations?
Grateful for any helpful comments.
Thank you

I've had a few Bloom and Wild and Freddies Flowers (felt like a harrassment campaign when it ended to try and get me to renew so won't use them again) I remember. The best by miles is Arena Flowers, great flowers and excellent customer service.

@hiredandsqueak thank you so much.
That's helpful to know about Bloom and Wild too.

I use freddies and I like the flowers they send. I find they last 2 weeks, sometimes 3 even. I get a box every 2 weeks but it's on a calendar system and they just charge per box delivered, so I can go into the calendar on my account and skip boxes if I like

I've had Arena subscriptions twice - absolutely fantastic, I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.
Lovely flowers, long vase life, great green credentials.

I agree about the difficulty cancelling Bloom and Wild - my Mum found them the ninth ring of Hell to escape.

I like Freddie’s. Really long lasting. Sometimes have three vases on the go and I only get a delivery fortnightly.

I have had Bloom and Wild as a gift. Not too impressed.

I love my Freddies Flowers too. I skip for weeks at a time and just get a delivery if I fancy one. They are always good quality and last for ages, at least the full 2 weeks

I third Arena flowers, although the quality of the bouquets has noticeably declined since Brexit really kicked in and fresh flower shipments have got trickier. The flowers are still lovely, but what you actually get has become very samey -I had roses for basically the whole summer. I have found that the single bloom bunches are nicer than the mixed bouquets and there is a bit more variety in what's sent.
