18 year old bathroom needs a little tlc (on the cheap) mainly a new bath panel. We currently have a white gloss wooden one which has served us well but has warped slightly along the bottom where it's absorbed water over the years. What are the best bath panels to have these days? I remember having a pvc one we I was a child at home and it being bendy and popping in if you knocked against it? I think it may have possibly even cracked! Should I stick with wooden glossed? Needs to be white. Or is there a sturdier plastic version available these days that's as strong as wooden? Feel free to add pics would love some inspiration!

If it has lasted 18 years it has done well. I would just go with another MDF panel. Slightly Matt finish in a pastel colour like a sage green or pastel pink might look a bit more modern?

Thankyou I think you're right. I did initially just think to replace with similar seeing as it has lasted so well. Didn't want to commit though incase I'd missed out on some new fangled bath panels that everyone else was using and I'd missed the memo! I think i will stick to white as the bathroom is so tiny any excess colour is going to draw the room in on itself even further!

Even matt white would be something a bit different.

Yes! It feels quite solid and looks really smart. I would recommend.
