Does stylish art supply storage exist?

I've got lots of art materials for my work....oil pastels, chalk pastels, images for collages, pencils, materials, pencils, pens, drawing boards etc. At the moment they are in random boxes and bags taking up space in my office. When I move house I want to organise it all and store it in a way that is easily accessible.

Practically I like the storage in this pic but it looks too tacky and probably too small. I want something that would fit in with my decor which is industrial chic. Maybe baskets on shelves? I don't know.

Anyone have any ideas for that? Thanks

I’d suggest looking at catering suppliers for industrial steel shelving, a couple of the tables on wheels like chefs use for an adaptable workspace is a useful thing too. It’s far easier to find things if it’s in clear boxes - saves having to open them all the time.

I also quite like the look of these tool storage stations. There's nothing to say you can't put art supplies in them. Might be a bit TOO industrial though!? Yes to catering supplies. Also I thought of plan chests, traditionally wooden and used in the factory drawing rooms but there are also funky coloured metal ones to look at.

I think if you keep your baskets relatively shallow, baskets on narrowly spaced shelves can work - baskets can be a pain to rummage through if too big!

What about an apothecary chest?
