Laundry box tower or similar idea?

Think I'm looking for the impossible! We want a unit for in our utility room that has laundry bags/ boxes for the clean, dry washing to go into sorted into each person's piles- that can they be removed and carried upstairs in the box / tray / bag. Needs to be a tower not side by side due to the space available. Can anyone think of anything?

A tall, think Ikea Kalyx unit? They do tonnes of different types of boxes to go inside.

So tricky part -

Ideally not plastic as it'll be right next to a heated clothes rail.

Those wicker ones all seem to be really narrow and I need it to hold a decent pile of clothes in each basket

You could go for a set of IKEA Ivar shelves (the 50cm depth) and collapsible laundry bags like the Joseph Joseph Hold-All ones (they’re 53cm in the long side which would work with a slight overhang; the shelves can be 40 or 80cm wide so one or two bags per shelf). Not an especially beautiful option but a functional one.
