Dining table without grooves

I hate the grooves in my dining table that are harbingers of bacteria. Searching online these days seems to just bring up the same useless results, whether Googling or using Bing etc.

Where can I get a dining table where the top piece is made from one piece of wood or at least doesn't have grooves all over the top of it (I presume where they've stuck lots of pieces together as it's cheaper). Thanks so much.

The attached photo shows what I mean - they all have deep lines where dirt can collect.

Are you looking for solid wood?

I have the desk version of this from John Lewis and it has lasted well so far but it's not solid wood:

Lots of tables will be made of multiple pieces of wood but John Lewis does have lots where the wood isn't grooved.

How big do you want it to be and how much are you looking to spend? There are a lot of options on here.

We have this one, and while you can see it's constructed of different boards, there are no gaps or grooves. If you otherwise like your table, would it be you have wood filler or resin put into the grooves?

You could also consider getting some bevelled glass on top, if you like your table.
