Thomas Kent clocks and a question about clock placement!

Does anyone have a Thomas Kent clock and do you think it's worth the money? They're so expensive but the one I've found and love is so beautiful I know it would make me smile every time I looked at it 😂

It would be to go in my kitchen diner on the main wall on the left of the picture below. There will be a fridge freezer in the bottom corner (black square) so should the clock go in the middle of the wall that's left available or the middle of the entire width of the wall, ignoring that the FF is there? Possibly I might be overthinking this...

If you put it on the wall on the left of the picture, won’t that be above the cooker? I’d put it in the middle of the visible wall on the right.

Clearly I was typing before I'd fully woken up 😂 I meant the wall on the right 🤦🏻‍♀️

Also, ignore the 4 boxes at the top of the pictures with the diamond shapes... they're the skylights so don't have any effect on the clock positioning 😂

No, I wouldn’t put a small clock face in the middle of an otherwise bare wall — I think it would look tiny and lost. Where else in the kitchen, other than above the sink and cooker, do you have a wall that’s not covered in cabinets? What about between the sink and the French windows?

I do wonder if directly opposite your cooker would be best, although usually I’d say the middle of the visible wall.
You’re going to have to get someone to hold it up and see where’s best.

It's a pretty large clock if that makes a difference, 51cm wide. But yes that wall you mentioned is also available so definitely an option too!

In your shoes I’d probably cut out a circle of cardboard the same size as the clockface and try it in a few places before deciding. I sometimes do that with paintings.
