Is it okay to put non garden / conservatory furniture in a conservatory?!
If Oi do consider it, will it get ruined easily by ultra-violet light / heat quickly?

Yes, the issue is the relatively rapid fading. Big UV exposure.
We had some normal fabric sofas in ours, no choice at the time, and within a year or two the difference between the sun shaded/exposed areas was massive.
Depends on the colour I suppose, a pair colour would show it less.

We have a pale cream fabric sofa in ours and it's fine so far.... Wouldn't risk a dark colour though...

I have a dark fabric sofa in my conservatory, it's been there for 6 years and it's not faded. We have shutters on the windows which we open so it's been exposed to lots of sunlight.
