Built in wardrobe or no?

Ds's room is an odd shape.
There is an alcove which currently has his wardrobe in it.

It's slightly less than 100cm. At the moment it has a 90cm wardrobe in it but it's cheap and flimsy and not enough space.

Options are

  • buying a bigger wardobe and having it against the other wall so it's partially sideways into the alcove
  • having a carpenter put a built in wardrobe/covered made to measure
  • a L-shaped corner wardrobe built in but they look pricey.

WWYD.

I’d personally get a custom wardrobe put in. You could literally just build a frame for the doors and put a rail attached to the walls inside. Doesn’t have to be anything fancy but would make better use of the space.
