Hi, does anyone know if you can put a mug of tea on the Ikea Ekedalen oak veneer table without it marking it please.

No. All wood will mark if you put a hot mug on it

I have this table. I keep brenning to buy mata, but haven't had a problem so far with putting things on it.

I have this table and we’ve had hot mugs and fizzy pop - all sorts and it’s fine, i wouldn’t put a hot pan on it - but a mug of hot tea is no problem.
