Replacement front door (and windows in the future)

I'm currently renovating my late 1940's semi, and am currently looking at a new front door. I can't afford to do all the windows at this point, but will do in the near future.

There are just so many options! Do I go for a white frame? To be honest I'm not particularly keen on that, but are the other colours fashion and will look dated in 2-3 years? And I need ideas for the actual front door too, please.

I've looked at so many that my head is spinning!

I'm not sure if you're having side panels too?
We're about to replace ours and I'm erring towards frame & door in the same colour. Similar to this (but not grey!)

That looks really nice, and I like that grey but wouldn't have it as it's just too fashionable. No, no side panels but the door does look really nice with the same colour frame. How can choosing a door be so difficult?!
