Where to buy a new sofa?

We're really stuck at the moment with a knackered old 60s funky mid century modern sofa which will cost approx a grand to completely refurbish.

Also we have a big old leather one which is also sagging.

I don't know whether corner sofas are now a bit dated looking? No offence - I just wondered what people think.

We have quite a long think sitting room so it's difficult to see what will work so I keep delaying...

Crockof! Where have you looked? I've looked at John Lewis and DFS. Ikea seems to have not much range.

Not next. Spend SO much on our sofas and they have not lasted well.

Thank you for advice.

Also we have an old leather sofa which is so easy to clean but apparently the new fabric sofas are easy to clean too?
I'm drawn to a velvet look but I live with a hoard of inveterate snackers who sit and eat in front of the tv like I can't quite describe.
I wonder whether the upkeep of velvet-look v fabric v leather means any new sofa will look disgusting in a year because of the frankly slob like munching of those I love

What I mean is I like the idea of a non leather sofa but not if it will look Minging within a year

I've got a Next Sofa it's about three years old and it's a bit saggy now.

I was testing some in John Lewis the other day. There were some nice ones but £2k plus...I think sofas are something you have to shell out on to get good quality.

I was reading an article about a new sofa brand called Keep which actually look really nice and are made to last longer hence the name Keep! Don’t know if your kinda thing but I’m defo gonna consider them when my current Habitat finally gives way!! Think it’s keepsofa.com

Thanks for the suggestion. It's a huge investment!
