Wall colour to go with bright teal sofa

I've just ordered teal coloured sofas and thinking about wall colours. I have curtains that I love that are a sort of impressionist floral with teals, blues and rosy reds and I plan on keeping these.

If you have teal sofas what colours have you used on your walls?

My BIL has lovely teal sofas. He has plain white walls but accessories (cushions, throw, lampshades) in a golden yellow.

I really love white walls, although they seem to be out of fashion. So fresh and versatile.

Muted pink like blush pink or potters pink from Dulux?

Little Greene paint "Bath Stone", or other blackened pale yellow shade?
