In need of art inspo for spare room..

Hi all - I am in the process of giving my spare room a little update but I cannot for the life of me find artwork/prints that I like!

The room is off white with a beige upholstered bed and white bedding. Bedside table is a dark wood to help anchor the room and also a boucle cocktail chair with dark legs. I have a pale pink blind and tealy-blue throw for colour. So it’s a very sad beige neutral, calming vibe so far and I’d love to have add more pink tones in the art.

I am after 2/3 pieces to group together, potentially over a corner - sounds weird but in my head it will come together nicely. I have been scouring Google but most of what I’ve seen so far has either been too cutesy or too cookie cutter. I just don’t want the same Desenio a4 prints that everyone else has!

I am considering these two prints -

But would love to see/hear of any inspo you all might have for affordable (pink) artwork!? Alternatively I thought about framing some samples of expensive wallpaper or fabric but I’m worried it will look naff..

I think your wallpaper sample idea is good, and you can 'lift' it by using a mount in the frame.

Olivia Waller does some gorgeous pink-toned pieces, but depends on the aesthetic you’re going for www.oliviawaller.co.uk

Have a look at charity shops. You can pick up original paintings in lovely frames for as.little.as 5 pounds

my cheat for pictures is to buy a nice calendar in an art gallery with some posh pictures. then take out the 3 pictures you like most and frame them in the big square IKEA frames. you end up with a nice set of 3 matching prints that make a set together.
