Storage in a tiny bedroom

Moving into a one bed flat with a v small bedroom ( 10 ft by 10'6) - at the moment the bed is against the wall and I don't fancy DH scrabbling over me to go to the loo in the night so we're trying to rejig and maximise bedroom storage.

Has anyone got any cunning ideas? I saw this image on Pinterest which seemed good but I'm struggling to source the right bed and I'm guessing getting everything bespoke in London will be ££££

Any advice welcome!

Sorry - struggled to load picture, think it's worked this time!

Would a small double with drawers work, OP? It might not be wide enough for both of you to be comfortable, though. This bed is available in both small double and standard double.

John Lewis is a good place to start for beds, I reckon.

These look great thanks- I'm definitely going to have to go double or DH and I may kill each other within a week!

I think there's a couple of feet or more on each side, so ok to pull out but not all the way!
Those ottoman beds look great for bedding etc- but we need jumper/ knickers/ sock storage and I fear everything would be in a total jumble very quickly,

I have a spare room only just big enough for the bed and I have a very high brass bed in there, so everything can go underneath in plastic storage boxes with lids. In my opinion the lids are necessary otherwise everything gets covered in dust (but then, I am a slattern).

Agree with @Vroomfondleswaistcoat a high bed that allows you to have wheeled boxes with lids underneath will give you max practical storage. We have that in one bedroom and drawers under a bed in another but there is less storage that way though it looks smarter.

Will you have much storage elsewhere in the flat?

What about a loft bed? Google "loft beds for adults". I'm considering one for my small office room so I can accomodate guests. No room for desk and bed any other way
