Hi

Looking for help with interior design

We have a family room off the kitchen which overlooks the garden with two double patio doors it is wide 8 meters or so but shallow 3 metres and houses a three seater sofa facing the windows a two seater sofa to the right and then a dining table on the left of the room

Currently room is painted beige and the floor is wooden

Sofas are charcoal grey

What colour schemes/ other furniture/ inspiration can you help me with please.

I'm no interior designer by trade, but it sounds wonderful.

I would be looking at bringing the garden in. So yellow touches, cushions etc, plants by door outside.

Perhaps one feature wall but would need to see layout, can you do a drawing?

Mirrors help enormously in a narrow room, place one opposite the patio doors to reflect the garden.

I would use lots of different shapes and patterned cushions, try Ian Snow for inspiration then look at TKMaxx or Amazon for cheaper versions.

Throws in plain colours would work well on the sofas with patterned cushions.

Side tables on the long wall with oversized lamps and a gallery wall on the long wall, there are some great YouTube videos showing you how to this.

Would a pale sage green work for an accent? It might tie the sofas into the warmer colours in the floor and walls.

Photo or diagram? Where are the sofas in relation to the patio doors what direction does the room face! What do you generally use the room for — is it where you generally eat, for instance? Is this the way you generally access the garden?
