Sofa companies

Been to DFS and Sofology and so many sofas look identical across brands. Yet they're thousands of pounds. What companies should I investigate?

Is sofology bad? They have an 'illinois' which looks comfy and isn't those hideous back cushions which collapse like marshmallows.
