Replacement sofa cushions (seat and back, not scatter ones)

I bought a second-hand sofa on ebay, feather filled cushions, and it's just not comfy enough, plus the cushions need constant pummelling and plumping up, partly because the feathers get compacted in the narrow side bits of the seat cushions. And the feathers get thin in the front/middle of the seat.

So I've been looking into replacing the cushions with (made to measure) fibre-filled, but there are so many choices and no way of testing before buying.

I want something comfy, and where the filling doesn't migrate into the side bits, and needing only minor/quick plumping to look presentable.

Has anyone had success with replacement fibre cushions? Would love to see photos also, if you have.

I've not totally replaced mine but I bought some foam online and put it in my cushions as an addition. It's really plumped the cushions up and the sofa is much more comfy. I cut it with a breadknife!

Do they have zip openings. If so I’d just buy some cushion stuffing off of Amazon and restuff myself. Literally shove it in there.
