Are Venetian blinds easy to fit?

Think we are going to have to go with this type of blind in our new living room.

Are they easy to install? It's just a basic square window.

Fairly simple. Look it up, "venetian blinds installation" on youtube, that is what I did. You'll see a lot of videos.

Really easy to fit, we ordered the pristine white faux wood Venetian blinds from blinds 2 go, they are really good. I like the fact they have a pelmet so you don’t see the works parts. DH fitted 5 of them easily, into the recess, you will need a hammer drill though, just took his time, blinds2go have a good instruction video. We did have a problem with the first order and their customer service was really good at sorting it out. They always seem to have a sale on too!
