Does this look like lead paint?/ what now?

We've stripped back the wallpaper and are now left with this wall. Thinking of getting someone out to skim the walls so that we can paint it again?

Also really hoping this isn't old chipped lead paint.

Last owners moved in 1996, property built in 1931.

Get a test kit and check before stressing about possible solutions, it might be fine.🤞🏻

I've ordered one from Amazon, thank you! Have bought some appropriate masks to wear from Screwfix in the meantime !
