Ideal pillow to pillowcase ratio?

I am setting up home for the first time and one of the questions I have is what is the best ratio of pillow to pillowcase size?

By example, I am planning to buy these pillows:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultimate-Hungarian-Goose-Feather-Pillow/dp/B01AS09DWW/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1XM7UDEU6556U&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.HZxOZhyqupAqjg0R2OfmuLHYIx2Yi_1n3EUtlJpJQ46ZTbsOBKdZl2rxJ95Do77xaGxT2VsRU6mjjhPWxgzEEB2bCyD7ni1KmyFSn3iurGh1CsP6BFBYrfJcle-O16X-Hm_mhiMxUMJ-0Sz5CPNeXU4wVQg07XahEYY15tPUpae69Sb9cNshFM-Wd-LciG0x298TmrXgls7arnssY_Mkvw6v-PXvmq_yzTtwMwoQHWL1BgrTMNaR4jNtawMJVWQQ6zCpHj7zK09uEojiBV7ywxffowQYnZM648c4CS0KjbY.qdlqS2TT85J1TN1ftJGjC5pQf6_Eiyw_bBnDOFomebQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=Ultimate+Hungarian+Goose+Down+Pillow+%E2%80%93+Standard%2C+Soft%2FMedium+Support+Brand%3A+Soak%26Sleep&qid=1721634589&sprefix=ultimate+hungarian+goose+down+pillow+standard+soft%2Fmedium+support+brand+soak%26sleep%2Caps%2C470&sr=8-2

Can anyone suggest a good pillowcase to go with them? I was told that the case should ideally be smaller in size than the pillow, but the nearest fit would be around 40 x 70 cm (which is not quite the same dimensions as the pillow)...

Alternatively, are there ever any nice pillows similar to these which already come with pillow cases???

I'm a hobby cushion cover maker and always use a feather pad anything up to 5cm larger than the cover - for plumpness.
But surely a bed pillow is made to a more or less standard size to fit a standard pillow case. You don't need your pillow to be bigger than its case? It has no zip to contain the extra bulk (unlike a cushion cover.)

You buy a standard pillow case for a standard size pillow. They usually come with bedding sets anyway. Always in standard sizes. 50 x 75 cm
It's not like with cushions where you can stuff the filling in to make it fatter

Oh and no. Pillows don't come with cases. You buy them separately - usually as part of a bedding set. Double and larger sets come with 2 cases. Single with one

The ideal pillow to pillowcase ratio is generally about a 1:1 fit, meaning the pillowcase should match the pillow size to provide a snug fit without excess fabric. Here are some specifics:

1.	Standard Pillow: A standard pillow (20 x 26 inches or 51 x 66 cm) fits best in a standard pillowcase of similar dimensions, usually about 1-2 inches larger in width and height to allow easy fitting.
2.	Queen Pillow: A queen-size pillow (20 x 30 inches or 51 x 76 cm) should ideally use a queen pillowcase, which is slightly larger than the pillow to fit comfortably without a lot of extra space.
3.	King Pillow: A king-size pillow (20 x 36 inches or 51 x 92 cm) requires a king-size pillowcase, which is longer to accommodate the extended length of the pillow.

For a fuller, more plush appearance, you can also use a pillowcase that’s 1-2 inches smaller than the pillow dimensions, but this works best for decorative purposes and not as much for sleeping comfort.
