I have a 1980’s suburban box. I hate it. Well, I don’t HATE it hate it, because it’s home and has been for 8 years- but it’s a very long way from
my dream house. I have always preferred old houses.
I feel like I’m just renting it because I don’t actually like it enough to do anything nice to it- but this approach is starting to piss me off so I need to up my game and make where I live lovely. Circumstances dictate that I can’t move for a good few years yet and I need some inspiration to see what’s possible! I don’t want to turn it into a faux old home though, just work with what I’ve got.
Recommendations for accounts on social media would be v welcome- all the ones that the algorithm shows me are people doing up newer houses to look like old ones inside but I don’t think that’s what I want to do.
