Silent fan

Can anyone recommend a silent / quiet fan for a bedroom please x

We have a Rowenta Turbo Silence extreme. When you put it on night mode you can hardly hear it.

I visited a friend the other day and she had a shark one and it was really quiet.

I did consider buying one, but it was a bit too expensive, so depends on your budget.

Rather than a portable fan with a limited life which collect dust, modern ceiling sweep fans are quite affordable these days and provide a permanent source of air movement for cooling in the summer and, if you get a reversible one, they also drive warm air down in the winter. For a small bedroom, a 36" fan is adequate. So, multi functional, not "throwaway" and with the options of lights too.
