Does your front door match your hallway?

If your front door was very very pale pink as the flower borders directly outside your house were white, shades of pink and lavender purple, would it seem odd if your hallway didn't coordinate?

My hall is neutrals with some yellow ochre accents it leads onto the lounge which is the same.

I'm considering a colour to paint my front door as it needs doing and white always 'yellows' and not evenly in the sunshine.

My front door is blue, my hall isn’t.
Outside there are currently blooming a load of dahlias, which are all sorts of colours, the hall is white and has green blinds on the windows going up the stairs which match the door curtain, and the floor runner has greens.

My hallway is still "pre renovation" so currently a mix of magnolia and bare plaster but I quite like the idea of matching it to the front garden . I think a bright sunshine yellow door to go with your hallway would actually look lovely against that pink rose.

I’m not sure what you’re asking in terms of the relevance of the flowers, they are not year round, it would be very odd to match your hall to flowers.

my front door is wood, my hall white, I’ve a large garden, many many different colours of flowers.

My front door has seen better days and is a bit grubby - so yes, it matches my hallway and indeed me perfectly 😂

Wouldn't expect it to match tbh! Not sure about a pale pink door though - for some reason it doesn't feel very weather-resistant and in bright sun/dark days the shade might get lost and it might just look white?

My door is navy blue, my hallway is red. I'd really love a pink or yellow front door but I think DP would rather keep my love of colour contained to the house
