Please recommend me a decent window film

...that can be cut to size easily. I need several smallish panels covering with a film that's got a lovely discreet pattern, but all the ones I'm finding online are a bit naff.

Has anyone done this recently and could show me their pics?

I used a willow pattern one that I put up quite a few years ago. Just got it off Amazon

You do have to careful with ones with a directional pattern as they sometimes come in strips rather than cover the whole window

We got ours from Purlfrost, too- no issues at all. A wee bit fiddly, but then the dimensions were awkward. Good customer service too- owing to an issue with ordering on the website, the wrong pattern orientation was ordered. They replaced it straight away when arguably it was our mistake.
