does anyone have any experience with washable rugs e.g. Just Rugs or Ruggables? The dog has had the runs again on the dining room carpet and it's never going to be the same. We've switched to hard floors in most other places, but carpet underfoot suits a room that we mostly use in colder months. I need something that is genuinely washable, that I can lay over the existing carpet (would I need the underlay part in that circumstance, or is that only necessary if you are putting the rug onto hard flooring?) and ideally that I can fling into our own washing machine.
