Really comfy sofa? Where did you buy yours?

Bought a sofa a year ago from wayfair, it is like sitting on concrete.

After a corner sofa that has a decent back and is really comfy.

Have you got a really comfy sofa? Where did you get it from? Would velvet fabric be a key comfort indicator If you bought online?

Also two young toddlers, going for darker colour but also any advice on what would be a no go on the search?

I think it depends how big you are and how you sit on a sofa. I'm short so deep sofas, that people on here seem to love, I hate because I either can sit with my feet on the floor but with no back support or have back support but my feet sticking out into thin air like a little kid.

I like MCM sofas because they are beautiful and I find their neater proportions mean they are more comfortable than oversized modern sofas but been told by other people they think they look uncomfortable 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Nabru! Beautiful, comfy and great value. Visit one of their warehouses to try out if you can.

Sadly Nabru have ceased trading. I heard good things about Snug and we've ordered one but it hasn't been delivered yet. They are pretty expensive but we landed on a good sale and saved about 50%

Can you update when delivered? I did look at that website earlier but hadn't heard of them before, they currently have 50% sale.

I did look at DFS too?

Yes we are all shorties 😂😂 I didn't consider that, our current one is quite low down, but the lack of back support is not helpful at all for DH bad back and me when feeding baby 😅 but they all seem to be so low at the moment.

Sofa sofa - best sofas going

CheeseWisely · 07/07/2024 15:28

@Picklesjar20 We're not getting it until September as we're moving into a refurbished property then, I'll gladly update then if not too late for you!

Our Sofology ones are really comfortable. It's the first time we've had leather, and I'm so glad we did. It's so easy to clean, and doesn't absorb dust, smells or dirt like fabric does. Ideal with children and pets!

We usedto have sofas with removeable linen covers then had to replace. We got lovely comfy sofas from sofa.com but can’t change covers apart from cushions and we then got a puppy. So now they are always messy and covered in rugs🙄
