Where to find a smallish couch that I can fit in my little flat

Hello,

I'm in desperate need of a new couch but am struggling to find one that fits the relatively small space in my flat. The previous one was here when I moved in. Any recommendations of where to look for a good selection of couches? Mine is approximately 155cm x 65cm x 80cm. Ideally something with a straight back as I have back issues.

Thanks

I managed to get a compact one from Dunelm for my old place where sofa space was small. Just a two seater. Might be worth having a look?

I got a very compact l distorted one from oak furniture land. It was the only one in all the shops that fitted! It was much narrower with thinner arms than so others. A two seater was also in their range.

Ikea was my first thought.

I got mine in IKEA

Thanks for the suggestions so far, everyone, much appreciated. Does an IKEA couch require assembly? Not such a fan of that

My friend went to a specialist small sofa place, I don't know the name sorry, but it was online so maybe knowing such a thing exists means you could search and find?
The back is straight.

I got an Arlo 2-seater sofa in the John Lewis special buys several years ago. I think they're more expensive these days, though, but the special buy that happens twice a year helps - limited fabrics to choose from. It is 154cm wide and that fit in my very small flat. I liked it because the arms/sides were quite narrow, which gave slightly more seating space for a small width. There were matching armchairs as well. In hindsight, I might have gone for a small sofa that converted to a bed, as there is also no room in the small flat for guests, but I didn't and don't have room for one now!

Parker knoll probably makes them.

Try looking for second hand or vintage Ercol or Ercol style couches or benches

We had a similar problem, in that the entrance to our flat was up a staircase with several bends.
We got one from M&S in the end as it was small with shorter arms and removable feet so was able to navigate the bends successfully.
Also Next do furniture so also worth a look.

They'll assemble at your home for a small fee.
