Hi,
Can anyone recommend linen bedding? I love how it looks but wondered what people’s experiences of it are and also, any good suppliers.

Thank you

I've had some from H&M, some from Piglet in bed (in the sale ) and some from Secret Linen Store again in the sale & they have all been lovely!

I've also had a fitted sheet from M&S again nice!

I'd say the Piglet in bed & Secret Linen store were the best quality but the price reflected that!

I love it, it's so soft I can't go back to normal bedding!

Highlandflapped · 27/06/2024 21:39

Thank you, I’d not thought of H&M!

Zara Home?

fabricstash · 27/06/2024 22:16

I get mine from Ikea but there are only limited colours

soundsys · 27/06/2024 22:26

Soak and Sleep is good - good quality and they have decent sales somethings

Highlandflapped · 27/06/2024 22:32

Thank you @fabricstash I had no idea!

"The Marriott Bed" https://europe.shopmarriott.com/en/the-marriott-bed

Having slept in different Marriott beds I was hooked. Their pillows, linen. So I buy them because you spend a lot of time in bed.

The Marriott Bed

The Marriott Mattress and Box Springs will finally give you the good night's rest you've been waiting for.

M and S and H and M are very similar quality ….I have both and am happy with them ….but piglet in a bed is just sooooo soft….love it….I only get stuff when it’s in the sale though cos it’s not cheap

RogueFemale · 27/06/2024 22:46

I've bought the H&M linen stuff. It's nice in theory, but a lot more work to wash, dry and iron than regular cotton.

Callingallbutterflies · 27/06/2024 22:49

La Redoute has great linen bedding, I wait until they have a 50% off sale.

Mum5net · 27/06/2024 22:53

also Costco online
H&M good but the opening on duvet covers not that wide
La Redoute is well priced

You don’t need to iron linen…that’s the beauty of it

rockstarshoes · 28/06/2024 00:02

I was just about to say I've never ironed any of it!!

justasking111 · 28/06/2024 00:08

Never ironed mine. Either the washing line or the tumbler bash out any creases

Highlandflapped · 28/06/2024 07:16

Loving the care tips too.
Sounds right up my street with no ironing required!

I've got two sets from John Lewis, they have quite a few colours.

boniobiscuit · 28/06/2024 07:27

Piglet in bed is the best as their duvet covers fit the duvet size perfectly. I have also found their linen to be slightly thicker.

Zara and H&M home are okay, but the duvet cover and fitted sheet seem on the large size (I bought king size and the duvet cover is bigger than the duvet and the fitted sheet is a bit 'flappy'

M&S seems slightly better quality than H&M and Zara, but has the same issue with the duvet cover.

I genuinely think that once you've had pure linen sheets you'll never go back to anything else.

Highlandflapped · 28/06/2024 22:09

@boniobiscuit thanks, I’ll look out for Piglet sales.

flappy duvet covers are the worst!
